We’re thrilled you’ve chosen to study here in the City of Melbourne, and we can’t wait for you to help shape Melbourne in your own way – making life-long friends and memories along the way.

Melbourne is proud to be Australia's best student city for nine consecutive years, and fourth-best in the world. We’re also rated second globally for student experience.

We want to ensure this is the best city for you during your studies and beyond, and we’re delighted to support Melbourne International Student Week.

We hope you’ll join us at Federation Square for welcome celebrations full of entertainment, giveaways and the iconic Melbourne vibe.

I also extend a personal invitation to join me at the Lord Mayor’s Student Welcome at Moomba, Australia's largest community festival, marking its 70th anniversary this year.
